As Jazmine pursues her love interest, Katlego, and Lesedi pursues employment
from Mr. Du Preez, they both experience continual rejection which thwarts
them into a shared psychological world, a manifestation of their self-doubt. In
their efforts to escape, they find that pursuing external validation is futile, and
that by embarking on the journey to love themselves, they can be freed.
